Cage was sued by Paul Brooks, his producing partner on the 2000 film, for $77,176 (£48,018) in unpaid fees on Thursday.
Despite the five-figure settlement being sought, TMZ today reported that Brooks and Cage had come to an agreement just one day later.
"Contrary to recent reports that a lawsuit was going forth by Paul Brooks and Early Bird Productions against Mr Cage, this matter has been resolved privately and amicably between the parties and therefore no legal action is being pursued," a representative for Cage claimed.
The lawsuit is set to be formally withdrawn on Tuesday, according to close sources.
Cage recently escaped being charged over his domestic abuse arrest in May, which stemmed from a heated row with his wife Alice Kim outside their New Orleans home.
