Actor Chris Tucker has agreed to star in the third instalment of the massively successful Rush Hour franchise for a staggering £13 million.
Such a sizable paycheck places Tucker amongst Hollywood's highest-paid actors.
FoxNews also reports that the actor's new contract has a "pay or play" clause, meaning he will still receive his fee even if film is never made.
Tucker has made few film appearances, and his only starring roles were the previous two Rush Hour movies. However, Rush Hour 2 is the highest grossing comedy of all time, and the two films together made over £315 million worldwide.
Co-star Jackie Chan has brokered a similar deal for almost £8 million, and all of the main actors involved in the project will get an advance before filming starts this August.
