The Harry Potter star made the admission during an upcoming interview with Larry King. The special programme will see the chatshow host speaking with Radcliffe and his co-stars, as well as previewing the final film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
Asked by King if he would like to have a family, Radcliffe responded: "Oh god yes, absolutely. I'm one of the - it's very strange... I'm one of the broodiest young men you will ever meet."

Radcliffe blamed growing up on the set of the eight-film franchise for his desire to become a father.
"I think, [it is] because I spent so much time around adults and I saw them all have kids," he explained.
However, the 21-year-old insisted that he does not want to start his family "just now", adding: "But I want kids and I want lots. I absolutely do. I've seen how happy fatherhood has made some of my best friends, and I love kids as well. I definitely want that."
Reminded that he would need to find a girlfriend who felt the same, Radcliffe quipped: "I need to get someone who is willing first probably. I've got a girlfriend at the moment, who I am very much in love with, so we'll see where that goes."
Catch the interview with Daniel Radcliffe and the full cast in a Larry King special, Harry Potter: The Final Chapter, on CNN International on Sunday, July 10 at 10am and 8pm BST.
