'Harry Potter' Daniel Radcliffe: 'Peculiar to watch early films'

The actor was 11 when cast as the boy wizard in the adaptation of JK Rowling's first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Ahead of the release of the final film, Radcliffe has admitted that he feels "nostalgic and weird" when re-watching the earlier movies.
"I'm very proud to have grown up and also, when I look at those first films, I just think, 'Oh god, we had no idea what we were doing!'," he said. "To a certain extent, all of us didn't; it was new ground.
"If you look at the visual effects - just the jump between one and two in the quality of the visual effects is huge. We were all finding our feet; both cast and the director Chris Columbus, [who] was saddled with the biggest film franchise in the world. He had to start it all off and it wasn't an easy job, but he did a fantastic job on it."
Radcliffe added: "It's very peculiar when you see photos and footage of yourself from that age, but I'm sure I'll be learning to live with it for a long time."
