The actress confessed to MTV News that her reputation for taking on more innocent roles means that she is not often offered such juicy parts, a fact which made her all the more anxious to join Horrible Bosses.
Aniston explained: "It wasn't a 'might.' There was never the word 'might' [involved in deciding to take the part]. It was pretty much, 'How fast can I say yes? I will play this part'.
"I'd never seen anything like this woman, and I couldn't imagine not doing it."
Aniston recently brushed off suggestions that she appears topless in Horrible Bosses and said that she had no idea where the rumours came from.
Horrible Bosses co-star Lindsay Sloane has described Aniston as a "crazy diva sex machine" in the film, promising that viewers will be surprised by her performance.
