Warner Bros is planning to bring Image Comics title Undying Love to cinema, it has been reported.

The studio is teaming up with Stephen L'Heureux and Benderspink to bring the vampire series to the big screen, according to Heat Vision.

Undying Love was created by Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman, and recently launched by Image. The comic crosses horror with romance and draws inspiration from Chinese monster lore, as a well as traditional vampire fiction.

The plot follows a soldier who falls in love with a vampire. In order to be with her, he must confront her creator, taking on a host of Chinese monsters along the way.

Coker and Freedman have signed on to pen a screenplay for the project, though a director and cast are yet to be secured.

A potential release window for Undying Love has not been announced.
