Sean Bean rumoured for Tarsem Singh's 'Snow White'

According to Heat Vision, the Sharpe actor has almost finalised a deal to portray Snow White's monarch father in the fantasy epic.
The film sees Priest star Lily Collins take on the titular role opposite Armie Hammer as the Prince and Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen.
Bean has become closely associated with the fantasy genre in recent years, having starred as Boromir in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy and as Lord Eddard Stark in HBO's recent series Game of Thrones.
Production on the film is already underway in Montreal, ahead of Universal Pictures' rival project Snow White and the Huntsman.
Relativity's Snow White is due out in cinemas on March 16, 2012.
