'The Amazing Spider-Man' trailer debuts

The first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man has been released online.
The teaser video provides the first look at Social Network star Andrew Garfield as high school student-turned-webslinger Peter Parker. Garfield, the BAFTA-winning British actor, replaces Tobey Maguire in the title role for director Marc Webb's superhero franchise reboot.
The trailer features a retelling of Spider-Man's origins and closes with spectacular first-person perspective footage of the superhero swinging across New York skyscrapers.
Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and Irrfan Khan also star in The Amazing Spider-Man, opening in cinemas on July 3, 2012.
