'M:i:III' holds off 'Poseidon' in US

Mission: Impossible III kept its position at the top of the US box office chart last weekend.

The week's highest new entry was Wolfgang Petersen's disaster remake Poseidon, which took a fairly disappointing $20.3m in its first three days. With a 49% drop from last week's earnings, M:i:III yielded $24.5m.

Also new on the chart was Lindsay Lohan comedy Just My Luck, which entered in fourth place. Meanwhile, soccer story Goal! failed to make the top ten.
