Isaacs, who plays Lautner's father in the upcoming action thriller, admitted that he was greatly impressed by the Twilight star's physical prowess.
He told Digital Spy: "Taylor is phenomenal... the like of which I've never seen before in terms of his energy. His physical presence is amazing - he's such a brilliant athlete and gymnast."
Isaacs also voiced his admiration for Abduction's Maria Bello, whose We Advance organisation raises awareness for the health and safety of women in Haiti.
"Mostly I worked with Maria Bello, who was fantastically good fun," Isaacs said of his experience on Abduction. "I was not only impressed by her as an actress, but by how much time she gives to Haiti because she went and lived in a camp there for a long time."
