'The Avengers' posters reveal Marvel superhero lineup

Marvel has unveiled seven character posters for its superhero ensemble movie The Avengers.
The artwork brings together comic book characters Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smoulders) for the big screen blockbuster team-up.
The Avengers, currently in-production with Buffy creator Joss Whedon directing, will open in cinemas on May 4, 2012.
