The actor, who stars opposite the capuchin primate in his new comedy Zookeeper, joked that the animal's ego is out of control following her success in the Hangover sequel.
"Her name is Crystal and she's a bit of a Hollywood trollop right now," James quipped to Digital Spy.
"She's kind of in a lot of movies, but she's doing well. By the way, I'm thinking of becoming her agent. I'd like to quit my job acting and just get jobs for her."

Crystal has also appeared in the Night at the Museum movies and can next be seen in Cameron Crowe's We Bought a Zoo.
Zookeeper, starring James as a well-meaning zoo worker who discovers his animals can talk, opens in UK cinemas this week.
