'Narnia' beats 'Potter' for DVD sales

Disney said on Tuesday that it has sold 11 million copies of Narnia, whereas Harry Potter has only sold 10 million copies since its early March DVD release.
Narnia sales benefited from the DVD's release right before Easter, industry observers say. Easter is now the second-biggest retail traffic period of the year, right behind Christmas, according to America's National Retail Federation.
Including Narnia, Disney now lays claim to five of the 10 top-selling DVDs of 2006. The others are Bambi II, Chicken Little, Lady and The Tramp and Flightplan.
