Vin Diesel has signed up for an action thriller whilst also preparing to put his hard-man sensibilities to one side in romantic comedy Player's Rules.
Described as a "unique take in the ongoing war between men and women", the idea behind Player's Rules was hatched between Diesel and writer Ron Bass, who will pen the screenplay with partner Jen Smolka, Variety reports.
More typical is the actor's casting in Black Water Transit, an action thriller written by Doug Richardson (Hostage) which will mark the feature debut of music video director Samuel Bayer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Also on the cards for Diesel are video game adaptation Hitman and self-directed historical adventure Hannibal.
