America Ferrera joins Jake Gyllenhaal's 'End of Watch'

Ferrera, known for starring in the Ugly Betty television series and the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants films, will play a policewoman. The part is described as a main supporting role, according to Variety.
Horn, who has had recurring roles on The Office and Rescue Me, will also be a police officer, The Hollywood Reporter says.
End of Watch stars Gyllenhaal and Crash actor Michael Pena as two cops who are best friends.
Oscar-nominated actress Anna Kendrick, with acting credits in Up in the Air and Rocket Science, will play Gyllenhaal's wife.
End of Watch is expected to be released in 2013.
