Dominic Cooper to join 'Gotti' film?

The film's director Barry Levinson and writer James Toback are keen to cast Cooper as John Gotti Jr after seeing the actor portray Saddam Hussein's son Uday in The Devil's Double, reports Page Six.
A deal has yet to be reached, but Cooper is said to be intrigued by the story of the Gambino crime family's rise and fall.
"[Cooper's] read the Gotti script and already has great suggestions for the role," a source added.
A Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father rep declined to comment on Cooper's possible casting.
John Travolta, Lindsay Lohan, Al Pacino and Kelly Preston have all joined Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father's ensemble cast.
Joe Pesci had also been linked to Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father, but he is now reportedly suing the movie's producers for breach of contract.
Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father is expected to be released in 2012, while Cooper's The Devil's Double opens Friday in US cinemas and on August 12 in the UK.
