'Red State': Kevin Smith thriller gets red band trailer

Kevin Smith's new movie Red State has released a new international "red band" trailer.
Smith, known for directing comedies such as Clerks and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, changes pace for the controversial thriller. Red State focuses on Christian fundamentalism and radical fringe religions, with Kill Bill's Michael Parks playing a character loosely based on Westboro Baptist Church head Fred Phelps.

The Fighter Oscar winner Melissa Leo, John Goodman, Michael Angarano, Kyle Gallner and Nicholas Braun also star in Red State, opening in UK cinemas on September 30 and October 19 in the US.
