The Mr. & Mrs. Smith star said the couple's priority is now their six children.
"As Brad and I get older we're going to do fewer films," Jolie told the Financial Times. "I've been working for a long time, he's been working for a long time.
"We've had a nice run and don't want to be doing this our whole lives. There are a lot of other things to do."
Jolie is currently gearing up to star as the lead in a remake of the 1963 film Cleopatra, which originally featured Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Roddy McDowall.
Earlier this month it was claimed the couple were making plans to marry, although sources have since denied that there is any truth to the rumours.
