Vincent Cassel: 'David Cronenberg is easy to work with'

Vincent Cassel has said that he finds it easy to work with David Cronenberg.

The Our Day Will Come actor appeared with Viggo Mortensen in Cronenberg's Eastern Promises in 2007 and reunites with both for the upcoming A Dangerous Method.

Asked what it was like to work with the pair again, Cassel told Digital Spy: "Like all the good ones, they're easy to work with - on a set it's easy-going.

"Unfortunately in the new one I don't really have any scenes with Viggo, but I spent a lot of time with Michael Fassbender, who I didn't know before as a person but we really got along really well."

Cassel revealed that he had not yet seen A Dangerous Method, which will premiere at the 2011 Venice Film Festival.

"I think the great thing about a director like David Cronenberg is each time he's reinventing himself," he added. "This one's going to be totally different from, for example Eastern Promises or A History of Violence. It's very refreshing to work with somebody like that."
