Cee Lo Green to play Wu-Tang Clan Raekwon's father

Cee Lo Green will play Raekwon's father in his upcoming biopic.

The Wu-Tang Clan rapper told XXL that the 'F**k You!' singer had won the part in C.R.E.A.M., which is named after Wu-Tang's 1994 hit.

Raekwon said: "Cee Lo Green [is] playing my pops in the film. Cee Lo is gon' play Raekwon's ol' dad!

"[He's] a good friend of mine. When I called him and told him about it he was just overwhelmed. He's just one out of the greats that's gonna be on the project."

Green later added on Twitter: "News flash: I CEELO GREEN will be playing the "FATHER" OF RAEKWON THE CHEF in his new biography on his life! NOW THAT'S HIP-HOP for ya!"

Raekwon last year revealed plans to collaborate with Justin Bieber and Kanye West.

Paul Oakenfold recently revealed that Cee Lo Green will feature on his song-based album, which is due for release in 2012.
