A new trailer for In Time, starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried, has been released.
In Time is set in a society where nobody passes the age of 25 and people have to 'buy' time in order to stay alive for more than a year. Therefore, rich people are able to live for longer and the poor die prematurely.
Timberlake plays Will Salas, who is 'gifted' time by a wealthy man but is then forced to go on the run when he is suspected of his murder.
Seyfried is heavily featured in the trailer, including a scene in which Timberlake takes her character Sylvia Weis hostage at a party. The new clip also features Cillian Murphy as the 'timekeeper' Raymond Leon, Mad Men's Vincent Kartheiser as Sylvia's father Philippe and Tron: Legacy's Olivia Wilde in the role of Will's mother Rachel Salas.
Timberlake recently said that he considers In Time to be his first 'headlining' movie, adding that he was attracted to the role of Salas because he is an "ordinary guy [who is] trying to stay alive".
The new clip for the Andrew Niccol-directed thriller follows a teaser trailer and a four-minute internet-only 'sizzle reel' which was released last week.
In Time is released on October 28 in the US and November 1 in the UK.
