Superman: Kirk Alyn to Henry Cavill - the Man of Steel in pictures

The 28-year-old former Tudors star follows on from the likes of Kirk Alyn, George Reeves and Christopher Reeve to play the Kryptonian crime-fighter.
Cavill's Superman film, titled Man of Steel, will also star Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Kevin Coster and Diane Lane, and debuts in cinemas on June 14, 2013.
