'Da Vinci Code' release delayed in India
Published Tuesday, May 23 2006, 10:33 BST | By Matthew Houghton

According to Sony, the censors demanded a disclaimer both at the beginning and the end of the film saying that the production was "a work of fiction".
But Sony Pictures argued that the film already had a legal statement at the end that fully covered any uncertainty.
The statement reads: "The characters and incidents portrayed and the names herein are fictitious, and any similarity to the name, character or history of any person is entirely coincidental and unintentional."
Sony said that they hope that an agreement will be reached quickly so that the film can be released in India soon.
