Roland Emmerich's 'Anonymous': New trailer debuts

The Elizabethan thriller tells the story of Edward de Vere, Queen Elizabeth I's supposed incestuous lover, who is rumoured to be the true author of the works of William Shakespeare.
Anonymous stars Rhys Ifans and Vanessa Redgrave in the two lead roles opposite an ensemble cast including Joely Richardson, Jamie Campbell Bower, Derek Jacobi, Xavier Samuel and David Thewlis.
The film is Emmerich's latest project after his proposed alien epic The Zone was cancelled for unknown reasons.
The Independence Day director is reportedly in talks to helm a film adaptation of iconic videogame Asteroids.
Anonymous is due out in cinemas on October 28.
