David Cronenberg's 'As She Climbed Across the Table' picked up

The company acquired the rights to the book as part of a package which also has Bruce Wagner as screenwriter and Film Rites' Steve Zaillian and Garrett Basch as producers, Deadline reports.
It first emerged last year that Cronenberg was attached to the project, his first science fiction film since 1999's eXistenZ.
The book centres on the impact of an artificial miniature black hole called Lack on physicist Alice and her partner Philip
Cronenberg's latest feature A Dangerous Method will premiere at this year's Venice Film Festival.
