Anne Hathaway defends 'Dark Knight Rises' Catwoman outfit

Anne Hathaway has responded to the lukewarm reaction to her Catwoman outfit in The Dark Knight Rises.

A photograph of Hathaway's costume for Christopher Nolan's third Batman movie was unveiled to the public last week.

Hathaway told MTV News: "I was not going to admit it. I asked someone to send me a few reactions, and I happen to know that MTV's reaction was 'meh'.

"What I am happy to say is, if you didn't like the photo, you only see about a tenth of what that suit can do. And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste."



In an ongoing poll for Digital Spy, a slim majority of 54.8% of voters have currently given their support to Hathaway's new-look Catwoman, while 45.2% are not keen on the outfit.
