Cate Blanchett has signed up to play one of seven Bob Dylans in an upcoming biopic, joining Heath Ledger and others.
I'm Not There will see the legendary musician played by seven actors, each portraying a different aspect of his personality.
Blanchett's role is an androgynous singer-songwriter named Jude, for example. She will fall for model Coco Rivington – to be played by fellow recent-recruit Michelle Williams.
The film will reunite Williams with Brokeback Mountain co-star Heath Ledger, who replaced Colin Farrell to play another Dylan.
Christian Bale, Julianne Moore and Richard Gere are also on the cast for the project, written and directed by Todd Haynes (Far from Heaven, Velvet Goldmine).
Produced by Killer Films, it is set to start filming in July.
