The 21-year-old confessed that she was looking forward to the end of the supernatural franchise, admitting that she did not quite register it when it came.
"I'd been anticipating that end-of-Bella moment. I was going, Oh, my God - I wonder how I'm going to feel," Stewart told W Magazine. "And the last scene of the shoot was at the wedding. Every single character was there on set. At the end of that day, I was kind of whacked. And so I never really had that moment then."
Stewart went on to say that she finally experienced that "end-of-Bella moment" later on when she had to return to shoot one final scene.
"We needed to film one more sort of honeymoon scene and we went to the Virgin Islands," Stewart said. "After that scene, my true final scene, I felt like I could shoot up into the night sky and every pore of my body would shoot light. I felt lighter than I've ever felt in my life."
Stewart recently revealed that she felt exhausted on the last day of filming the final Twilight movie, claiming that her final day on set did not feel very climactic.
Earlier this month, the actress insisted that she does not feel "hot", despite being voted the sixth sexiest woman in the world in an FHM magazine poll last year.
