The Wayne's World comedian officially agreed to resurrect the International Man of Mystery and his nemesis Dr Evil for another big-screen outing, Hitflix reports.
Myers first played the characters in 1997, while sequels The Spy Who Shagged Me and Goldmember followed in 1999 and 2002 respectively.
It has not yet been confirmed whether Jay Roach, director of all three previous movies, will return for the next picture.
Myers last commented on the possibility of a fourth Austin Powers film in April 2010, stating that the project was still "on track".
Roach previously spoke of his desire to take the Austin Powers series "somewhere you haven't thought of".
