The Avatar star insisted that he was not surprised when the first film was greenlit for a sequel, despite having received lukewarm reviews.
"Titans made a lot of money," Worthington told Collider. "A lot of people went and saw it. We've just got to make it right. I've just finished that. I loved it! I loved that experience."
Worthington went on to say that he felt more experienced on the set of the second movie.
"Clash 2 is so different," he explained. "It was a different experience for me because I'd learned a lot from Clash 1, and I'd learned a lot from other movies. I can't wait for that to come out."
Worthington recently revealed that Avatar director James Cameron is hard at work on the sci-fi film's two sequels, claiming that he is writing a "bible" to get himself into the Avatar mindset.
The Australian actor announced last week that he plans to take a break from acting, revealing that he looks forward to relaxing at home for a while.
Clash of the Titans 2 opens in the US and UK on March 30, 2012.
