Earlier this week, the Barney's Version actress was reported to be in line for the female lead in the film, along with Captain America's Hayley Atwell and Clash of the Titans' Alexa Davalos.
Pike was today confirmed to have landed the coveted role opposite Tom Cruise, writes Deadline
The film, which is being adapted from Lee Child's series of novels featuring the retired military policeman Jack Reacher, centres on a man who investigates a series of homicides involving a trained military sniper that shot five seemingly random victims.
Cruise was confirmed for the role of Reacher in July.
Pike rose to fame as Bond girl Miranda Frost in Die Another Day. She has since appeared in supporting roles in films such as An Education, Surrogates and Doom.
One Shot is slated to begin filming in Pittsburgh in the fall.
