'X-Men' stands at top of US box office

With a figure of $103.1m over Friday to Sunday, the film achieved the fourth-highest opening weekend of all time, behind Spider-Man, Revenge of the Sith and Shrek 2.
The Da Vinci Code, the previous week's chart-topper, slipped to second place with a 56% drop on its previous earnings. Meanwhile, Over the Hedge, M:i:III and Poseidon each dropped a position to round out the top five.
