Disney announced during today's D23 Expo that the Two and a Half Men star has signed on to voice Dusty in their new project Planes.
The film is the first in a new series of projects from Disney aiming to bring different types of vehicles to life in the Cars world.
Cryer will portray a young plane afraid of heights who dreams of competing in a race around the world.
The actor recently said that it was "awful" to be involved with Two and a Half Men during the period in which Charlie Sheen was fired from the show.
Planes will be released on Blu-ray and DVD in Spring 2013.
