'Bridesmaids' Rebel Wilson cast in 'Bachelorette', 'Ice Age' sequel

Bridesmaids star Rebel Wilson has landed roles in several high-profile comedies currently in the works.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Wilson has replaced Casey Wilson in the indie comedy Bachelorette after the actress was forced to drop out of the project.

The project, which is currently ramping up production, will also star Kirsten Dunst, Isla Fisher and Adam Scott.

Wilson has also landed a part in the upcoming romantic comedy Pitch Perfect, based on Mickey Rapkin's non-fiction book.

Finally, the actress has been cast in an unknown role in DreamWorks' upcoming animation sequel Ice Age: Continental Drift.

Wilson is best known for starring as Kristen Wiig's eccentric roommate in Bridesmaids.
