Barker, whose novella The Hellbound Heart spawned the Hellraiser series, took to the social networking site to separate himself from the new Pinhead instalment.
"Hello, my friends. I want to put on record that the flic out there using the world Hellraiser IS NO F**KIN' CHILD OF MINE! (sic)" he said.
"I have NOTHING to do with the f**kin' thing. If they claim its from the mind of Clive Barker, it's a lie. It's not even from my butt-hole."
Hellraiser: Revelations was reportedly produced quickly to allow Dimension Films to retain the movie rights to the franchise, reports Blastr.
Barker wrote and directed the original 1987 horror classic Hellraiser and also created Candyman.
