'Fireflies in the Garden' finally receives US release

The ensemble drama premiered back in 2008 at the Berlin International Film Festival, and will finally reach US audiences this October with a never-before-seen cut of the film.
"I am so pleased our film will finally get a theatrical release in the US," Lee told Coming Soon this week. "Anyone familiar with our story knows the road to this moment has been paved with challenges.
"It's not lost on me how much care and determination it took to bring Fireflies to light. I am so grateful for all the support I've received."
The Fireflies in the Garden boasts a star-studded ensemble cast including Julia Roberts, Ryan Reynolds, Willem Dafoe, Emily Watson, Carrie-Anne Moss and Hayden Panettiere.
The film's male lead Reynolds most recently starred opposite Jason Bateman in The Change-Up, while female lead Roberts last appeared with Tom Hanks in Larry Crowne.
The Fireflies in the Garden will receive a limited opening in the US on October 14.
