The actress, who was recently axed from the role of Bonnie Elizabeth Parker in The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, has now allegedly been given a severance deal worth $100,000 (£61,000) because of the terms of her contract.
An industry insider told TMZ that the movie's production team had to pay Duff the six-figure sum because it was their decision to end her employment.
When asked about the situation, Duff said: "I don't wanna give them any more press than they've already gotten off me... I think [my] baby is a little bit more exciting."
Duff was reportedly dropped from the movie after announcing her first pregnancy earlier this month. Her co-star Kevin Zegers was then also axed from filming. Amanda Seyfried and James McAvoy have since been linked to the lead roles.
