'Horrible Bosses' tops Australian box office

Horrible Bosses has topped the Australian box office in its opening weekend.

The comedy film, which stars Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman and Jason Sudeikis, took an estimated domestic total of over $3 million, knocking last week's number one Friends with Benefits down to third spot.

Australian movie Red Dog still sits in second place with box office takings of $1,939,761, three weeks after it achieved the biggest opening weekend box office results for a home-grown film this year.

In fourth spot is Cowboys and Aliens, followed by Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which made $871,988 in ticket sales.

Other movies featured in the top ten this weekend include Jane Eyre, Conan the Barbarian and Ryan Reynolds's action movie Green Lantern.
