Aniston breaks up 'X-Men's' US success

The Break-Up smashed records and toppled X-Men: The Last Stand from the top of the US box office chart.
The romantic comedy starring Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston grossed $38.1m, making it the third biggest opening for a romantic comedy, behind Hitch and 50 First Dates. It was also the biggest summer opener in the genre, according to Variety.
The chart's only other new entry was documentary An Inconvenient Truth, which entered in ninth place.
