'Scott Pilgrim's Anna Kendrick to play teenage goth in 'Pitch Perfect'?

The Scott Pilgrim star would play the part of a teenage goth who discovers she has a singing talent, despite her difficult relationship with her music professor, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She goes on to become the surprise star of the school accapella group.
Bridesmaids star Rebel Wilson has signed up for the film, which is based on journalist Mickey Rapkin's non-fiction book. Avenue Q director Jason Moore will be directing from a script by 30 Rock writer Kay Cannon.
Kendrick was last in talks for End of Watch opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena. She will next be seen in the cancer comedy 50/50 and Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.
The actress received an Academy Award nomination for her supporting role in comedy-drama Up in the Air.
