The Dark Knight Rises will use a Brecon Beacons waterfall and the interior of Romanian salt mines to double for the new Batcave.
Christian Bale's Batman sequel recently filmed at the waterfall in Wales to act as the entrance for the Gotham superhero's secret lair.

An insider told Wales Online: "I understand it's going to be used in the opening sequence of the film, as Batman discovers the Batcave. But we'll have to wait and see."
Batman website The Dark Knight Rises Rumours has also claimed that the Christopher Nolan-helmed production will also use the Turda salt mines in Romania for interior shots of the cavern.

The Batcave was destroyed along with Wayne Manor in 2005's Batman Begins and a makeshift base was constructed in sequel The Dark Knight.
The Dark Knight Rises will use locations in London, India, Iceland, Los Angeles, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Hong Kong and Romania.
Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt also star in The Dark Knight Rises, which opens in cinemas on June 20, 2012.
