'The Avengers' films in New York - Iron Man, Thor, Captain America in pictures

From director Joss Whedon, the comic book adaptation began filming earlier this year, while the first teaser trailer debuted following the credits in Captain America: The First Avenger.
The film boasts an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
The Avengers is due out in cinemas on May 4, 2012.
