Filming on the Christopher Nolan-helmed sequel movie, which stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway and Morgan Freeman, relocated from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles last week.
Two photographs were posted on the Fox-11 News Los Angeles Facebook page with a caption that read: "The pictures Warner Brothers doesn't want you to see!"
The images show 3rd Street in LA and a tunnel in the aftermath of an explosion, while a video showing vehicles including police cars piled up in a tunnel has also been posted on YouTube. The photos will reportedly be broadcast during the local news tonight.

It was recently revealed that the Dark Knight Rises movie will use a waterfall in the Brecon Beacons and the inside of Romanian salt mines to create the new Batcave.
Recent video footage filmed on the set in Pittsburgh's Forest Hills-Regent Square and leaked onto YouTube also showed a brawl between Bale's Batman and Hardy's villain Bane.
The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled for cinema release in 2012.
