George Clooney, Madonna bring movies to London Film Festival

The 55th BFI London Film Festival full lineup has been unveiled.
George Clooney will bring two dramas, The Ides of March and The Descendents, to next month's 16-day cinema event, while Madonna's new directorial offering W.E. is to hold its premiere in the UK on October 23.
W.E. debuted last week at the Venice Film Festival to mixed reviews from critics.
Michael Fassbender will appear in two LFF movies, the sex addiction drama Shame with Carey Mulligan, and director David Cronenberg's A Dangerous Method.
The festival will also host Ralph Fiennes's directorial debut Coriolanus, Roman Polanski's Carnage, Roland Emmerich's Shakespeare drama Anonymous and Andrea Arnold's retelling of Wuthering Heights.
Among the other 204 feature films and documentaries screening are acclaimed Cannes Film Festival movies We Need to Talk About Kevin and The Artist. Nick Broomfield will bring his new Sarah Palin documentary You Betcha! to the event.
360 and The Deep Blue Sea, both starring Rachel Weisz, were previously announced as the opening and closing night movies for the London Film Festival.
The BFI London Film Festival will run from October 12 to October 27.
