Jackman in 'X Men 2'

Baz Luhrmann's untitled period movie is back on track with Hugh Jackman taking the role rejected by Russell Crowe.

The X-Men actor will star with Nicole Kidman in the pre-World War II action-adventure.

The movie, which Crowe initially signed up to, was first set to shoot in June. It was then turned down the role.

Shooting is now set to start in northern Australia next February, according to Empiremovies.com. The project will see an English aristocrat (Kidman) forced to team up with a poor rancher (Jackman) and take 2,000 cattle across the whole country.
