Kate Winslet: 'Nude scenes are bizarre'

Kate Winslet has said that she finds shooting nude scenes to be "bizarre".

The Titanic actress first revealed her hatred for sex scenes in 2006, insisting that stripping down for a role makes her feel sick.

In a new interview, Winslet said that while she is willing to get naked for a part, she finds the experience to be painful.

"I hate it! Listen, make no mistake, I just get on it," Winslet told V Magazine. "I just go in and say, 'Oh f**k let's do it', and boom. If you complain about it or procrastinate it's not going to go away."

Winslet continued: "It's a profoundly bizarre thing to do. As actors you talk about it all the time. You can literally be tangled in sheets, and you turn to the other actor and say 'What the f**k are we doing?' Dear Mum, at work today I had so-and-so's left nut sack pressed against my cheek.

"It's sort of unethical if you think about it in those terms."

Winslet's Mildred Pierce co-star Guy Pearce claimed in June that the actress did not want her breasts showing when filming sex scenes for the HBO miniseries.
