The actress, who appears in next week's You Instead, told Digital Spy that her Potter role didn't give her the opportunity to form an emotional attachment to the series the way Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint did.
"I was always just in and out. Some people were there for three years, and because my character is very small in the films I did little pockets of it," she said.
"I'm not really aware that it's finished yet because in my life I would have easily had a year without going in."
The 26-year-old starred as Nymphadora Tonks in Order of the Phoenix, The Half-Blood Prince and the two Deathly Hallows movies.
Tena's You Instead co-star Luke Treadaway will soon appear in Wasteland with Harry Potter's Neville Longbottom, Matthew Lewis.
