Jason Statham: 'Expendables 2 starts shooting in two weeks'

The Mechanic star confirmed reports that the highly-anticipated action movie will film in Bulgaria.
"They start in two weeks' time," Statham told Collider. "Literally, I'm gonna go from one - I'm making a movie with Taylor Hackford in New Orleans called Parker, I'm going straight from there to Bulgaria. That's where we're at, Expendables 2, Bulgaria."
Actors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis were recently confirmed to return for "substantial roles" for the sequel after appearing only briefly in the first film.
Statham went on to say that he looks forward to working with Sylvester Stallone again.
"I had such a great time with Sly, he's a man I'm very happy to work with again," he added.
In July, John Travolta and Chuck Norris were also rumoured to be joining the cast of the ensemble film.
The Expendables 2 opens in cinemas on August 17, 2012.
