'Men in Black III' to open in IMAX 3D on May 25, 2012

Sony Pictures has revealed that the highly-anticipated sequel will open in IMAX theatres simultaneously with the film's worldwide release.
"Releasing a film in IMAX 3D signals an event release, and Men in Black III on Memorial Day weekend certainly qualifies in a big way," Rory Bruer, president of worldwide distribution for Sony Pictures Releasing, said. "We couldn't be more excited about how MIB III will look and sound in IMAX theatres."
Men in Black III will see Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones reprise their respective roles of Agent J and Agent K. The film also stars Josh Brolin, Emma Thompson and Nicole Scherzinger.
In May, New York City locals protested the film after Smith parked a 30-tonne, two-storey trailer in the district of SoHo while shooting the alien comedy.
The trailer was ultimately towed from SoHo in the wake of the complaints.
