'Passion' named most controversial film

The Passion of the Christ has been named the most controversial film ever made, by the US magazine Entertainment Weekly.
The biblical epic, co-written and directed by Hollywood heavyweight Mel Gibson, depicts the last twelve hours of Jesus Christ's life and. according to the magazine. sparked a "culture-war firestorm unrivalled in Hollywood history".
The film caused upset worldwide not only due to its extremely violent content, but because many thought it anti-Semitic.
The list also contained films such such as Stanley Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange and Oliver Stone's film Natural Born Killers.
